My name is Talha Maqsood, and I am a Website Pricing Analyst at Rate Sync.

How long have you been with Rate Sync, and what drew you to join?

I’ve been with Rate Sync for over a month, and the company's strong focus on growth, support, and opportunity is what initially attracted me. Even in this short time, I’ve gained extensive knowledge about the industry and my role. Our managers are consistently supportive, offering valuable insights and guidance that help us refine our skills and understand the industry better.

Role-Specific

What do you enjoy most about working in rate management and syncing?

Working in rate management and syncing allows me to leverage my expertise in Excel while also learning new ways to apply it within this industry. I also enjoy working with automotive data—a topic I’m genuinely passionate about.

How do you ensure the rates are accurate and up to date for our clients?

Maintaining accuracy in rate updates requires a meticulous approach. Each rate must be thoroughly reviewed and formatted to suit brokers’ platforms. Given that each funder has unique methods for providing data, we ensure we interpret and template it accurately, regardless of the format.

Personal Touch

Do you have a favourite car or vehicle brand you often recommend?

I’m a strong advocate for Seat/Cupra cars, as they are reliable and offer a wide variety of models to suit diverse needs. I currently drive a Seat Ibiza, and I’ve always had great experiences with this brand. I’ve also had good feedback from others on their experiences with the brand.

If you could drive any car in the world, what would it be?

If I could drive any car, it would be the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate. This car represents the best of Aston Martin’s performance and design, and my love for it started with the excitement of seeing the Aston Martin cars in action in the James Bond movies.

Rate Sync creates a welcoming environment that values individual needs, like providing dedicated spaces for prayer, and this is very important to me as a Muslim.
