What’s your name and role at Rate Sync? 

 My name is Sakariya Kadiye, and I am a Website Pricing Data Analyst at Rate Sync.

How long have you been with Rate Sync, and what drew you to join?

 I’ve been with Rate Sync for a couple of weeks now. What drew me in was the company’s strong focus on innovation, growth, and team development. Even in this short time, I’ve seen how committed the team is to supporting one another, and I’m excited to grow in a role where my skills can directly contribute to something bigger.

Describe a typical workday for you at Rate Sync. 

 A typical day involves updating pricing across various platforms, reviewing manufacturer and dealer terms, and ensuring everything is accurate and aligned with market expectations. I also spend time analysing trends and data patterns to help us stay ahead competitively. It’s a mix of precision, collaboration, and problem-solving—and I enjoy every bit of it.

What do you enjoy most about working in rate management and syncing? 

 What I enjoy most is the balance between data-driven analysis and real-world application. Working with pricing data allows me to sharpen my skills in Excel and problem-solving, while also giving me exposure to the automotive industry. There’s something satisfying about syncing everything perfectly and seeing the impact in real time.

How do you ensure the rates are accurate and up to date for our clients?

 I take a meticulous approach—every rate update is carefully reviewed and cross-checked to make sure it aligns with dealer and funder expectations. I pay attention to detail, whether I’m formatting spreadsheets or interpreting complex data inputs, and I always ensure the output is consistent and reliable across platforms.

What’s one thing you wish people knew about our rate synchronisation service? 

 I think people often underestimate how much care and precision goes into rate syncing. It’s not just data entry—it’s about understanding what dealers and funders need, how systems talk to each other, and making sure the end result reflects accurate, market-leading offers. It’s a behind-the-scenes process that makes a huge impact.

Do you have a favourite car or vehicle brand that you often recommend? 

I currently drive a Seat Ibiza and have always found Seat/Cupra to be reliable brands that offer a great mix of style and value. But when it comes to recommendations, I often suggest Mercedes. It’s a brand that strikes the perfect balance between comfort, performance, and speed—whether someone’s after a spacious SUV or a compact sporty model. You get the best of both worlds: luxury feel with the power to match.

If you could drive any car in the world, what would it be? 

 If I could drive any car in the world, it would be the Ferrari LaFerrari. It’s the perfect combination of performance, design, and exclusivity. The hybrid engine, the curves, the speed—it’s not just a car, it’s a statement.

What’s the best part about working with the Rate Sync team? 

 The team atmosphere is amazing. Everyone brings something different to the table, and we work in a way that encourages collaboration and growth. You genuinely feel like your ideas matter, and there’s always someone willing to support or offer guidance when you need it.

Describe a memorable project or moment with the team that stands out. 

 Although I’ve only been with Rate Sync a short time, I’m really looking forward to the upcoming Fleet Procure Live event. It’ll be a great chance to meet brokers, connect with others in the industry, and get hands-on experience—literally—out on the racetrack. The fact that we’re attending events like this as a team shows just how dynamic and engaged Rate Sync is, and I’m excited to create memorable moments like this together.

When you’re not working, what do you enjoy doing? 

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, exploring new places, and spending time with friends and family. I like to stay active and balanced.

I’m passionate about personal development, so I often read about data, tech trends, and productivity. That curiosity definitely influences my approach at work—I like looking for new ways to improve and bring fresh thinking to what I do.

What motivates you to do your best work at Rate Sync? 

What motivates me most is the opportunity to contribute to a team that’s building something exciting and impactful. I take pride in the work I do—especially knowing that accurate pricing helps drive real results for our clients. Being in an environment that encourages growth, values precision, and trusts its people pushes me to deliver my best every day. It’s also rewarding to know that I’m learning and developing in a role that aligns with both my career goals and personal values.
